Ingredients

• 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
• 0.5 teaspoons baking powder
• 0.25 teaspoons salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 0.5 cups white sugar
• 0.75 cups semisweet chocolate chips
• 0.5 cups chopped walnuts

Instructions

1. 1 Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
2. 2 Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
3. 3 Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a medium bowl until fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in flour mixture in two batches, then stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
4. 4 Roll or scoop dough into walnut-sized balls and place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Press on each cookie slightly to flatten.
5. 5 Bake in the preheated oven until light golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
6. 6 Remove from the oven and transfer to wire racks to cool.
