1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
0.5 teaspoons baking soda
0.5 teaspoons salt
0.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
0.5 cups margarine
0.5 cups brown sugar
0.5 cups white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1.25 cups rolled oats
0.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

Stir flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon together in a large bowl; set aside.

Beat margarine, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture using a wooden spoon. Mix in oats and chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
