  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. 2 Make the cake: Mix together flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla and almond extract. Beat in flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing just until incorporated. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  3. 3 Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert on a wire rack and cool for 10 more minutes.
  4. 4 Meanwhile, make the glaze: Combine milk, sugar, almond extract, and almonds in a bowl.
  5. 5 Set the wire rack and cake over a sheet of waxed paper. Pour glaze over warm cake.
