Ingredients
nonstick cooking spray
1 pound ground turkey
2 ounces feta cheese
0.5 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons red onion
2 tablespoons fresh mint
1 tablespoon fresh oregano
1 tablespoon parsley
0.75 teaspoons kosher salt
0.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
0.5 teaspoons ground cumin
0.5 teaspoons lemon zest
0.25 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 large egg
Instructions
1
Gather all ingredients.
2
Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray.
3
Place ground turkey, feta, breadcrumbs, olive oil, red onion, mint, oregano, parsley, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, cumin, lemon zest, crushed red pepper, and egg in a large bowl; stir gently until well combined.
4
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, shape mixture into 24 (1-ounce) meatballs; arrange in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Generously spray meatballs with cooking spray.
5
Broil in the preheated oven until meatballs are golden brown on top, and an instant-read thermometer inserted into thickest portion of meatballs registers 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), 8 to 10 minutes. Rotate baking sheet from front to back halfway through cooking time. Garnish with oregano leaves, and serve with lemon wedges.
