This grilled corn and avocado salad is the perfect summer salad. Tomatoes, honey, herbs, and feta pair wonderfully with the corn and avocado and hot sauce adds just the slightest bit of heat.

  1. 1 Gather all ingredients. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat (325 degrees to 375 degrees F or 165 to 190 degrees C). Lightly oil grate.
  2. 2 Place corn on grill rack directly over heat. Cover and grill corn, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and browned specks appear, 15 minutes; set aside until cool enough to handle.
  3. 3 Slice the kernels off of the cobs. You should have about 1 1/2 cups.
  4. 4 Meanwhile, whisk together olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, honey, hot sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. 5 Add corn kernels, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, cilantro, and basil. Toss until well combined.
