When I went on a six-day kayaking trip, our guides whipped up this breakfast couscous one morning over the campfire. It was delicious, and I started making it at home.

  1. 1 Combine milk, honey and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat. As soon as it comes to a boil, stir in couscous. Turn off heat.
  2. 2 Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in almonds, apricots, and raisins.
