Apple Dump Cake

This apple dump cake was one of the first things I made when I was learning to bake, and I still make it for parties. It calls for just three ingredients, is super quick and easy to make, and is a real crowd-pleaser. A dollop of vanilla ice cream tops it very well.

  1. 1 Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. 2 Pour apple pie filling into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pie filling and top with melted butter.
  3. 3 Bake in the preheated oven until the top starts to turn golden brown and apple filling is bubbling, about 40 minutes. Cool dump cake for about 15 minutes.
  4. 4 Serve warm and enjoy!
