  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. 2 Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda into a medium bowl.
  3. 3 Mash sugar and margarine together in a large bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs until incorporated. Stir in flour mixture in three batches, alternating with mashed bananas, beating batter briefly after each addition; mix until smooth and well combined. Fold in plums and transfer to the prepared baking dish.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 1 hour.
