Easy Apple Coffee Cake

An easy-to-make apple coffee cake with a beautiful layer of fruit in the middle. This is wonderful served warm with a scoop of ice cream.

  1. 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. 2 Stir together cake mix and instant pudding mix in a large bowl. Add eggs, sour cream, and oil; mix until well blended. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts in a small bowl.
  3. 3 Pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan, then place a layer of sliced apples over the batter and sprinkle with 1/2 of the cinnamon-walnut mixture. Pour the remaining batter over the top and repeat with the remaining apples and cinnamon-walnut mixture.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool for 30 minutes before removing from the pan to cool completely.
