Tajin® Michelada
I'm lucky enough to live in an area with a large Hispanic population and what seems like a Mexican restaurant or taqueria on every corner. They each have their own michelada recipe, and this is my version of my favorite. Maggi®Jugo seasoning can be found in the international aisle of your grocery store or Hispanic markets and provides an umami flavor. You may substitute soy sauce if necessary. Add more hot sauce if you prefer!
Summer Berry Stack
I created this recipe after having a similar cake in the cafe of a local bookstore I worked at years ago. I never forgot how delicious the dessert was, with the tartness of berries and citrus that complemented perfectly with the sweetness of the cake, the cheesecake layer, and white chocolate, so I decided to recreate it myself. The dessert from the cafe was actually mass-produced and shipped in frozen, so this is a fresh, homemade version that tastes even better than the original, if I do say so myself (haha). This elegant cake mix cheesecake stacks tart summer berries and lemon curd against creamy lime whip.
Orange Crush! Fresh Squeezed Orange and Vodka Cocktail
An orange crush cocktail recipe that delivers vitamin C with a smile! This beverage is yummy any time of year! It's the perfect drink on a hot summer day, BBQ cookout, as well as Sunday football and/or your next New Year's party. Whatever the occasion, this drink is a fresh beverage crowd pleaser. Without a doubt, my press juicer gets a workout when friends and family come over. Just give it a try!
