Is PantryLink free?
Yes! PantryLink offers a generous free tier with all core features. Premium plans are available for power users who want advanced features like AI meal suggestions, unlimited crews, and priority support.
What platforms is PantryLink available on?
PantryLink is available as a web app at app.pantrylink.app, and as native mobile apps for iOS and Android. Your data syncs across all devices automatically.
📦 Inventory
How do I add items to my inventory?
You can add items by typing their name manually, or use the barcode scanner to quickly scan products. The scanner automatically fetches product information from our database.
Can I organize items by location?
Absolutely! Create multiple inventory lists for different locations (e.g., "Kitchen Pantry", "Garage Freezer"). Within each list, you can also add specific locations like "Top Shelf" or "Door".
What are low-stock alerts?
Set a minimum quantity for each item. When the current quantity falls below the minimum, the item appears in your low-stock list and can be automatically added to shopping lists.
🛒 Shopping Lists
How do I generate a shopping list automatically?
Click the magic wand button on the Shopping Lists page. PantryLink will create a list with all your low-stock items, organized by your preferred stores.
Can I share shopping lists with family?
Yes! Create a Crew and share shopping lists with your family members. Everyone can see the list, check off items while shopping, and add new items.
Do purchased items update my inventory?
Yes! When you check off items while shopping, they're automatically added back to your inventory with the quantities you purchased.
👥 Crews & Sharing
What is a Crew?
A Crew is a group of people who share inventory and shopping lists. Perfect for families, roommates, or anyone who shares a household.
How many people can be in a Crew?
Free accounts can have crews with up to 5 members. Premium plans support larger crews with unlimited members.
Can I be in multiple Crews?
Yes! You can create your own crews and be a member of others. Each crew has its own shared lists, so your data stays organized.
📖 Recipes
How do I import recipes from websites?
Click the Import button on the Recipes page and paste the URL of any recipe. PantryLink automatically extracts the title, ingredients, instructions, and cooking times.
Can I add recipe ingredients to my shopping list?
Yes! Open any recipe and click "Add to Shopping List". PantryLink checks your inventory and only adds ingredients you don't already have.
🔒 Account & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your inventory and personal information are never sold to third parties.
Can I export my data?
Yes! You can export all your data at any time from Settings. We believe your data belongs to you.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account and click "Delete Account". This will permanently delete all your data. If you're the owner of any crews, you'll need to transfer ownership first.
