4 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1.5 cups all-purpose baking mix
0.5 cups finely chopped onion
0.5 cups finely chopped celery
2 teaspoons minced garlic

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Combine sausage, cheese, baking mix, onion, celery, garlic, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl; stir well until combined. Form into balls about 1-inch in diameter; place on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before serving with cocktail forks or toothpicks.
