Print: Mater's Adult Butterbeer

I've tried a couple of recipes for butter beer with alcohol that I found online, and they all were either so sweet or had oily butter in them that made me sick. I opted for a simplified version that tasted less sickly and was strong enough for someone larger than a house elf. Great for Harry Potter-themed parties or Halloween. Serve super chilled in a frosted mug — it can magically warm up even the coldest wizards.

Ingredients

1 fluid ounce spiced rum , such as Sailor Jerry
1 fluid ounce butterscotch schnapps
1 , 12 fluid ounce
0.5 teaspoons imitation butter flavoring
1 small scoop vanilla ice cream , Optional

Instructions

1 Stir rum and schnapps together in a frosted 14-ounce mug until well combined.
2 Open cream soda can, pour in butter flavoring, and quickly pour soda into the chilled mug. Gently drop ice cream into soda mixture.
