Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.

Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in crushed pineapple and bread cubes.

Transfer mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on top, about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Let stuffing stand for a few minutes before serving.
