Ingredients
1 cup packed brown sugar
0.5 cups shortening
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup solid pack pumpkin purée
2 cups all-purpose flour
2.5 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

0.25 teaspoons salt
1 cup raisins
0.5 cups chopped walnuts
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons warm water

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease baking sheets.

Beat brown sugar and shortening with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Beat egg and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in pumpkin. Add flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl; stir into pumpkin mixture. Fold in raisins and walnuts.

Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets.

Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, 10 to 12 minutes

Meanwhile, mix confectioners' sugar and warm water together until smooth. Stir in ½ teaspoon of cinnamon.

Brush cookies with spice glaze. Cool on wire racks.
