8 ounces lean ground beef
3 stripss bacon

0.5 cups green pepper
0.5 cups packed dark brown sugar
0.25 cups ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Gather all ingredients.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cook ground beef on a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from skillet and reserve.

Cook bacon in the same skillet 5 minutes.

Add onion and green pepper to skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, until bacon is crisp and onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add ground beef, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard to the bacon mixture; stir until combined.

Add ground beef mixture and beans to a 13x9-inch baking dish, stir to combine.
