  2. 2 Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add pumpkin seeds and cook, stirring constantly, until seeds turn slightly brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain off any excess butter.
  3. 3 Stir in maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg until seeds are thoroughly coated with spices. Spread seeds out onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 10 minutes, until crisp and golden brown, 30 to 45 minutes.
