These roasted maple pumpkin seeds are made with maple syrup and spices for a deep, rich flavor. A great snack!

Ingredients

  • 0.25 cups butter
  • 2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds , washed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add pumpkin seeds and cook, stirring constantly, until seeds turn slightly brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain off any excess butter.

  3. 3

Stir in maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg until seeds are thoroughly coated with spices. Spread seeds out onto the prepared baking sheet.

  4. 4

Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 10 minutes, until crisp and golden brown, 30 to 45 minutes.
