These roasted maple pumpkin seeds are made with maple syrup and spices for a deep, rich flavor. A great snack!

- 0.25 cups butter
- 2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds , washed and dried
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoons ground nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add pumpkin seeds and cook, stirring constantly, until seeds turn slightly brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and drain off any excess butter.

Stir in maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg until seeds are thoroughly coated with spices. Spread seeds out onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven, stirring every 10 minutes, until crisp and golden brown, 30 to 45 minutes.
