Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon butter
• 2 cloves garlic cloves , minced
• 1 teaspoon hot pepper paste , or to taste
• 0.75 cups half-and-half
• 0.25 cups heavy cream
• 1.5 cups shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. 1 Melt butter In a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in garlic and Calabrian hot pepper paste. Slowly pour in half-and-half and whipping cream; stir.
2. 2 Add Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup at a time, stirring after each addition. Cook for a total of 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Turn off the heat. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
