  1. 1 Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line cups with paper liners.
  2. 2 Combine cottage cheese, milk, butter, and egg in a high speed blender (such as Vitamix); blend until smooth. Add in flour, oat flour, sugar, and salt. Blend in 20 seconds increments until ingredients are just combined. Fold in chocolate chips by hand.
  3. 3 Spoon batter into the prepared muffin cups.
  4. 4 Bake in the preheated oven until tops spring back when lightly pressed and a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean, 22 to 24 minutes. Cool in the tin for 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
