We’ve added a major new safety feature to PantryLink.
🛑 Introducing Recall Notices
PantryLink now monitors official FDA food recalls and checks them against your actual pantry inventory.
Here’s what that means:
We track new food recalls from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
When a recall is issued, we publish a detailed blog summary explaining what happened and what to do.
Most importantly — we automatically compare the recall against your saved inventory items.
If there’s a match, we notify you.
No manual searching. No guessing.
If you have the product, you’ll know.
How It Works
FDA publishes a recall.
PantryLink imports and classifies it (Critical, Warning, or Info).
We compare it against:
If we find a match, you receive a notification:
In-app
Push notification
SMS (if enabled)
Recall alerts are free for all users (SMS requires a subscription).
Why We Built This
Food recalls happen more often than most people realize. The problem isn’t awareness — it’s knowing whether you actually bought the product.
PantryLink solves that by connecting recall data to your real inventory.
This is another step toward making PantryLink not just a pantry organizer — but a safety layer for your home.
If you’re not already tracking your inventory, now is the time.
