Sausage and Sauerkraut
This sauerkraut and sausage recipe is from a sweet old German lady I used to attend church with. Allow for plenty of time to prepare and cook this dish. It is definitely worth the time and effort! Serve with hot German potato salad and red cabbage.
Sea Pie (Six Pates)
This sea pie is an old French recipe that was passed down from my great-grandmother to my mother, then to myself and my family. Many people think this has to do with fish or seafood when they see the name, but it does not have anything to do with fish. The name in French is six pates, which, translated to English, means six doughs.
Chicken Bouillon Rice
The bouillon really adds flavor to plain rice. My husband loves it!
