Yummy mini applesauce puffs are so easy to make with baking mix and so delicious rolled in cinnamon sugar, making them the new go-to breakfast treat!
Ingredients
- 2 cups baking mix , such as Bisquick®
- 0.5 cups applesauce
- 0.5 cups white sugar , divided
- 0.25 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1.25 teaspoons ground cinnamon , divided
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter , melted

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 30 mini muffin cups.

Mix baking mix, applesauce, 1/4 cup sugar, milk, egg, oil, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon together in a bowl until just blended.

Spoon batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full.

Bake in the preheated oven until golden, 12 to 15 minutes.

While puffs are baking, place melted butter in a shallow bowl. Combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in a second shallow bowl.

Dip warm puffs in melted butter, then in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
