A delicious Indian sweet, commonly gifted during celebrations like Diwali. I got this recipe from my neighbor when I lived in India. She always brought me sweets that she made herself.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpea flour , besan
- 1 cup clarified butter , ghee
- 1 cup white sugar , or to taste
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped pistachio nuts
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped cashews
Instructions
-
1
Stir the chickpea flour and clarified butter together in a saucepan over medium-low heat until the mixture smells toasty, about 10 minutes. Set aside until cool enough to handle.
-
2
Stir in the sugar, pistachios, and cashews until evenly mixed. Form the mixture into small balls the size of large cherries. Use some pressure when forming the balls so they don't come apart.

Curried Chicken Lettuce Wraps
This take on traditional chicken salad has received rave reviews wherever it's been served. I've even been able to convert my husband, who won't come within 10 feet of traditional chicken salad, into a "more please" kinda guy when I serve these curried chicken lettuce wraps for dinner! Also makes great leftovers as it tastes even better after a day or two!
Air Fryer Chicken Piccata with Lemon-Caper Sauce
The chicken is tender and juicy with a crispy breading with a peppery flavor. The sauce is acidic from the lemon juice and zest, with well-balanced flavors and a little brininess from the capers. The flavor from the garlic is present, but not overwhelming and works well with the lemon, white wine, and butter. Great with pasta, a side salad, or sauteed veggies.
Four-Cheese Chicken Carbonara
I made this chicken carbonara dish when I wanted to create an indulgent pasta sauce with thick-cut bacon and chicken. I happened to have cheese and cream on hand too. I've had friends try this, and they loved it. I hope you do, too!
