Louisiana Crawfish Boil
This crawfish boil is quite a feast! Invite the family and dig into this messy, delicious meal. Combining crawfish, sausage, corn, mushrooms, potatoes, and artichokes, this is a dish you'll crave over and over. Add other seafood or vegetables to your liking.
Gingerbread Granola Bars
This is a twist on Playgroup Granola Bars from this site. I didn't have the stuff to make those (and we love those), so I did my own thing. They turned out great! We normally wrap them individually and freeze them, a great quick snack or breakfast on-the-go!
Quick Hoppin' John Soup
This soup is a modification of my father's Hoppin' John recipe. The only difference between his and mine is the use of tomatoes. It's a great recipe for the holidays (New Year's) or any time during winter months. There are many versions of this recipe here, but this one is quick so you can throw it together after a long day at work for the whole family to enjoy!
