This is a variation on the classic Manhattan that I developed because I also like the Old Fashioned cocktail. You will need a cocktail shaker.
Ingredients
- 0.5 cups ice cubes , or as desired
- 2 dashes bitters , such as Angostura®
- 2 fluids ounces bourbon
- 1 fluid ounce orange-flavored liqueur , such as Cointreau®
- 1 dash maraschino cherry juice
- 1 maraschino cherry

Easy Mochi
Mochi are small, sweet Japanese cakes made with glutinous rice flour (mochiko). They have a soft, chewy outer layer and a deliciously sticky filling made of sweetened red bean paste. Freezing the red bean paste before you use it is optional but it does make the process easier.
