Ham Chowder
I made this ham chowder recipe with leftovers I had one day. It's a ham- and potato-based soup with leeks, onions, rosemary, cream, bacon, and carrots. The ham and bacon give this soup a smoky taste while the cream gives it a rich texture. Chowder is better served the next day.
Deep-Fried Morel Mushrooms
These deep-fried morels are breaded in a herby, cracker crust. Morel mushrooms are the prime rib of mushrooms — we hunt them every spring. Deep-fried until crispy, these morels are full of earthy, nutty flavor. You won't be able to stop eating them.

Steel-cut oats and the Instant Pot: two of my favorite discoveries from the last 10 years. Top with ground flax seed, hemp seed, cinnamon, fruit, honey, syrup, vanilla extract, nut butter, etc.
