These Buffalo chicken bites are always in demand at any football get-together. You can make the bites and use any type of sauce you want. Personally, I like to take a quarter cup of barbecue sauce and a quarter cup of hot sauce and mix it together.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 pound skinless , boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 0.25 cups hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon butter
Instructions
-
1
Gather the ingredients.
-
2
Whisk flour, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Beat eggs together in a separate bowl.
-
3
Dip chicken pieces in egg; transfer chicken to flour mixture and coat completely. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
-
4
Fry coated chicken pieces in hot oil, working in batches, until no longer pink in the center, about 3 minutes per side; drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
-
5
Combine hot sauce, garlic, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in the microwave until butter is melted and sauce is warm, about 1 minute.
-
6
Serve hot sauce mixture as a dipping sauce or pour over buffalo chicken bites.

Cajun-Spiced Sauce
Expand the traditional French velouté sauce into Cajun territory (a cuisine known for its French influences) with the holy trinity—onion, celery, and green bell pepper—plus Cajun seasoning and hot sauce. Serve with shrimp, fried chicken and waffles, or sausage and biscuits.
Peach Blueberry Pie
This peach and blueberry pie comes from the mortician's side of the family. I was wary at first because I had never heard of the combination of peaches and blueberries. I was quickly swayed after trying it and now believe that this is one of the best pies ever!
"Grate" Apple Crisp
With a luxurious texture and a flavor that approaches apple butter, Chef John's apple crisp is truly delicious. It also skips the tedious peeling, coring, and slicing step. You'll definitely want a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
