I love this grilled cabbage as it tastes naturally sweet with caramelized edges when cooked on the grill. This is a quick and easy 3-ingredient recipe that lets the cabbage shine!
Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder , or to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- aluminum foil
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients. Preheat grill for medium heat.
-
2
Cut cabbage into 8 wedges, and remove the core.
-
3
Place cabbage wedges on a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap them all. Season wedges on both sides with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; seal the foil.
-
4
Cook on the preheated grill until cabbage is tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.
-
5
If you want to char the wedges for a smokier flavor, sear the cooked cabbage wedges directly on a greased grill for about 1 minute on each side.

Pork roast with apples and sauerkraut is the traditional New Year's Day meal here in the land of the Pennsylvania Dutch. This is my rendition of that holiday meal. I usually serve it with mashed potatoes and applesauce.

This is the best brisket! It's delicious and easily kosher for Passover. I got this recipe after watching a friend's Jewish grandmother make it. Mazel Tov!
