Big Smokey Burgers
I created this big smokey burger while trying to recreate the best burger I had ever tasted at a restaurant in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. My family and I think these burgers are better. They are packed with flavor!
Air Fryer Peri-Peri Fries
While not true peri-peri fries as they're not made with bird's eye chiles, it's what my family has named these. I generally serve them with peri-peri chicken, hence the name. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Mom's New Years Pigs Feet
This pigs feet recipe has been passed down over time in my family. These delicious "trotters" are a relatively inexpensive African-American dish we made every New Year's Eve to ring in the new year. They're even better the next day, and they freeze well. Sprinkle them with a little more vinegar or hot sauce to taste and serve with homemade potato salad, Southern-style greens, candied yams, and cornbread.
