I got this recipe from my grama. It can be used on lamb or beef, and the flavors can be adjusted to suit your taste.

- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1.5 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1.5 teaspoons dried basil
- 0.75 teaspoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
Instructions

1
Mix together the paprika, thyme, basil, cumin, and curry powder, if desired, in a small bowl. When ready to use, evenly sprinkle a light coating onto lamb or beef and pat into surface of the meat. For the most flavorful results, season meat and place in a resealable plastic bag; refrigerate 2 hours before cooking.

Pear and Blueberry Cake
My husband and I had this delicious pear and blueberry cake on our honeymoon at Al Covo in Venice. I've tried to re-create the recipe because it was so tasty!
Pressure Cooker Kale Greens
This is a recipe for kale greens made in a pressure cooker with turkey bacon. I make this with a 6-quart electric pressure cooker. If you eat red meat, feel free to substitute the turkey bacon with the real thing. If you want less salt, cut back on the bouillon.
Shrimp Gumbo with Okra
I kinda winged this shrimp gumbo with okra recipe, but it turned out great! It has real Creole flavors and is so easy to make! I used pre-cooked, Cajun-seasoned shrimp, which made this gumbo with okra much easier, but you can use raw shrimp. Adjust the spice to make it as hot or mild as you like. Leftovers freeze well. Serve with rice and/or crusty French bread!
