A delicious chocolate candy shell topping for ice cream made in less than 5 minutes using just two ingredients. After trying recipe after recipe that turned out either rock hard or thick and gummy, I read the ingredient list on a bottle of the store-bought stuff and came up with this! Drizzle on top of your favorite ice cream.
Ingredients
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 0.67 cups coconut oil
Instructions
-
1
Combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, mixing well each time, until mixture is smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. It takes about 1 minute of stirring until they fully mix together. Store at room temperature in an airtight container.

Lime Glazed Leg of Lamb
A great alternative to the usual lemon, garlic, rosemary seasoning for lamb. Lamb comes out juicy and flavorful. Baste is also good on other meats and poultry.
Mango Smoothie Bowl
My daughter is a fussy eater but she will always eat a smoothie bowl. Mango is her favorite, so I created this one for her.
Chamoyada
A chamoyada, also called mangonada, is a refreshing summer Mexican drink made with fresh mango and chamoy sauce. I like to add pineapple juice for a tropical twist. Garnish with a tamarind straw that you can get in Mexican stores and diced mango if desired.
