I have had a hard time finding Korean Banana Milk so I decided to make my own. This turned out delicious and so much less expensive.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 0.5 cups whole milk
- 0.5 cups water
- 1 maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 tos 5 ice cubes , optional
Instructions

Combine banana, milk, water, maple syrup and vanilla in the blender cup. Blend until smooth.

Place ice cubes in glass (if using). Pour banana milk on top.

Chef John's Italian Meatballs
These Italian meatballs are very easy to make, and since we skip the messy step of pan-frying the meatballs, it becomes downright simple! Here I use a standard half-beef/half-pork mixture. Once the meatballs are baked, add them to your favorite prepared tomato sauce and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

This is Chef John's take on the classic Sichuan dish Ants Climbing a Tree, a magnificent mix of glass noodles and ground pork that is rich, spicy, and savory. The name is derived from the way the bits of pork stick to the noodles in the finished dish.
