This summery peach sorbet is made with peach purée that's easy to make with very ripe, fresh, juicy peaches for a deliciously fruity frozen treat.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ripe peaches - peeled , pitted, and chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 0.5 cups water
- 0.5 cups white sugar
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Blend peaches in a blender until smooth. Measure out 1 ½ cups peach purée into a medium bowl. Stir in lemon juice immediately and refrigerate.
-
3
Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Remove simple syrup from heat and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
-
4
Pour chilled peach purée and simple syrup into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions, about 20 minutes.
-
5
Transfer to an airtight container and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.

This black lentil recipe is one of my favorite side dishes. Black lentils are also known as beluga lentils since they resemble beluga caviar, the most prized of all caviar varieties.
3-Minute Fudge
Easy-to-make-and-tastes-amazing fudge, but that's a pretty long title so we just call it 3-Minute Fudge. It's only 3 minutes to cook and 3 ingredients! Great to cut up and put in ice cream.
