This pork steak recipe is from my mom. She came up with this recipe when I was a child, and it's the only way I can eat green onions.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cups butter
- 0.25 cups soy sauce
- 1 bunch green onions , chopped
- 2 cloves garlic , minced
- 6 porks butt steaks
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat; stir in soy sauce. Add green onions and garlic and cook until lightly browned, about 2 minutes.
-
3
Place pork steaks in the skillet. Cover and cook until browned, 8 to 10 minutes per side. Remove the lid and continue cooking until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the steak reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), about 10 minutes.
