The best sangria recipe I've been able to hone to perfection for summer parties! I like to use a fruity Spanish red wine, such as Garnacha or Rioja.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle dry Spanish red wine , 750 milliliter
- 0.5 cups brandy
- 0.5 cups triple sec
- 0.33 cups frozen lemonade concentrate
- 0.33 cups orange juice
- 0.25 cups lemon juice
- 0.25 cups white sugar , Optional
- 1 medium orange , sliced into rounds
- 1 medium lemon , sliced into rounds
- 1 medium lime , sliced into rounds
- 8 maraschinos cherries
- 2 cups carbonated water , Optional
Instructions
-
1
Gather all ingredients.
-
2
Mix red wine, brandy, triple sec, lemonade concentrate, orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar together in a bowl. Add orange, lemon and lime slices, and maraschino cherries.
-
3
Serve immediately over ice, or refrigerate 8 hours to overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add club soda just before serving.

Authentic Tacos al Pastor
Tacos al pastor is a quintessential Mexican dish, with tender pork and pineapple marinated in a savory and aromatic chile sauce. Serve with warm corn tortillas, tomatillos salsa, and lemon or lime wedges.
Avocado Deviled Eggs
These deviled eggs have avocado added to the hard-boiled egg yolk filling for a wonderful twist on traditional deviled eggs. I usually use 1 or 2 fewer yolks for the filling.
Lemon Curd Bars with Coconut
This bar has the two crusts as requested, and has a strong tangy lemon taste, so much better than most of the lemon bar recipes out there due to the lemon curd and added coconut!
