This simmered Italian rice recipe turns plain rice into a deliciously different side when it's cooked in broth and accented with spinach and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1.75 cups Swanson chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning , crushed
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 0.75 cups uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 0.5 cups grated Parmesan cheese , plus more for serving

Instructions

    Heat broth and Italian seasoning in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
