This cherry ice cream has chunks of delicious sweet black cherries dotted throughout. You can use red cherries if you prefer a tarter flavor — I just love the crimson color and sweetness in ripe dark cherries. Whatever you decide, this homemade ice cream is a great way to celebrate summer cherries!
