This blended margarita recipe proves you don't need to purchase a pre-made margarita mix to make a perfect margarita. I prefer mine straight up, but you can add salt to the rim if you like.
Ingredients
- 3 cups ice cubes , divided
- 1.25 cups fresh lime juice
- 1 cup triple sec or other orange liqueur
- 1 cup silver tequila
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
-
1
Combine 2 cups ice cubes, lime juice, triple sec, tequila, and lemon juice in a blender; blend margarita until smooth.
-
2
Place remaining 1 cup ice cubes in a cocktail shaker; pour in desired amount of margarita. Cover and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled glass.

Flounder Mediterranean
Flounder baked with fresh tomatoes, kalamata olives, capers, onion, and white wine. Serve with white rice and a green vegetable.
Pasta with Gorgonzola Sauce and Radicchio
This rich and flavorful sauce is the perfect match for bitter radicchio. It is incredibly easy to make and goes well with any type of (preferably fresh) pasta. My favorite pasta to have this with is gnocchi. The light and fluffy potato pasta goes well with the rich sauce. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
Spicy Chili
This satisfying spicy chili recipe is made in the slow cooker. Start it before you head off to work, and return to a comforting homemade meal ready to eat! I like to top each bowl with some sour cream and shredded cheese.
