This tomato chutney made with fresh tomatoes, ginger, garlic, sugar, and spices tastes amazing! It's very good on Indian flat breads.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped ripe tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 teaspoons chili powder or to taste
- 1 tablespoon white sugar or to taste
- salt to taste

Combine tomatoes, ginger, garlic, cilantro, chili powder, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thick and tomatoes have broken down, about 10 minutes.
