Norwegian Cabbage Rolls
Velkommen! My take on traditional Norwegian kΓ₯lruletter. My girlfriend likes the way I make them. I use a little less potato starch and throw some caraway seeds and rice in the filling, leaving a more meaty texture and a bit more flavor, in my opinion. Serve with brunsaus (brown gravy), rice, and boiled potatoes. Agurksalat (cucumber salad) is a great accompaniment to this dish.
Paleo Stuffed Cabbage
I love paleo stuffed cabbage rolls, also known as galumpkis, and wanted to share my own version with zucchini, which I also love. I made this recipe for a dinner party, and everyone commented on how delicious and light it was β nobody realized I had swapped rice with cauliflower and zucchini. I was hoping for leftovers, but that was not the case!
Sweet and Sour Stuffed Cabbage
This sweet and sour stuffed cabbage recipe is my Grandma's. She made this in her hotel in the Catskill Mountains. It is a treasured family favorite. I serve it with mashed potatoes.
Super Easy Polish Cabbage Rolls
This is a very easy way to make chicken cabbage rolls. They taste great with little work involved. I'm Polish and love them, but this recipe sure beats the lengthy one my dad used.
Grandma Elaine's Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
This unstuffed cabbage rolls with meatballs stew is a family heirloom recipe that has been handed down through the generations. My mother taught it to me, and I tweaked it to its current form. I have eaten all kinds of stuffed cabbage, and this comforting, sweet and sour recipe beats them all.
Ukrainian Meat Filled Cabbage Rolls
Delicious cabbage rolls with a creamy sauce. In Ukrainian kitchens, cabbage leaves are often used as cases for soft fillings. These rolls are a little different because the leaves are filled with a meat stuffing and not primarily a cereal mixture. This makes them more like holiday fare. For a different flavor, use tomato juice instead of chicken broth. See the note at the bottom of the recipe for pressure cooking instructions.
Ukrainian Beet Green "Cabbage" Rolls
Use beet greens to make "cabbage" rolls. My mother used to make these and always served them with cream sauce instead of tomato sauce. They're fast and easy to make since, unlike cabbage leaves, beet greens don't need to be cooked first. Serve with rice or noodles.
Turkey Cabbage Rolls
This is my version of cabbage rolls using ground turkey instead of ground beef. This dish freezes well, so you can have half for dinner and freeze the other half for another time. Mashed potatoes make a good side dish.
Stuffed Cabbage
This recipe calls for freezing a head of cabbage overnight to soften the leaves to wrap around a beef and rice mixture.
Grandma's Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage, Slow Cooker Variation
This is a recipe passed down from my great-grandmother, with a few shortcuts she approved of.
Polish Stuffed Cabbage
Stuffed cabbage rolls. I am 100 percent Polish, and this is my mom's recipe. Use regular rice, not instant.
Sarma (Stuffed Cabbage)
For this satisfying sarma dish, cabbage leaves are stuffed with a seasoned mixture of rice, ground beef, pork, and ham. They are then laid on a bed of sauerkraut and simmered to completion. This is the best stuffed cabbage recipe I've ever tried.
