Chili Dog Mac and Cheese
This chili dog mac and cheese combines two of my favorite things to eat โ chili dogs and mac and cheese โ and manages not to taste all that much like either one, while being wildly successful at being stupendously delicious.
Calabacita con Puerco (Pork with Squash)
Calabacita con puerco (pork with sausage) is a classic Tex-Mex dish that is slightly different everywhere you find it. This is my grandmother's version, which I think is the best! Serve with hot corn tortillas.
Barbecue Chicken Grilled Pizza
This quick and easy barbecue chicken grilled pizza recipe is for those summer cookouts. I often make it as an appetizer while the ribs are cooking. Use whatever toppings you normally like on regular pizza, but the barbecue chicken is always a crowd-pleaser! The dough never makes a perfect rectangle, but we have fun guessing what it looks like ("That looks like America!"). For the chicken, I use pre-cooked grilled chicken from the store.
