This chocolate chip cookie recipe made without brown sugar is by far the best I've found. The cookies are like traditional chocolate chip cookies, much like a better version of Mrs. Field's. Everyone will want the recipe!
Ingredients
- 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter , softened
- 0.75 cups white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups jumbo semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1.5 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
-
2
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together into a bowl.
-
3
Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and walnuts until incorporated. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
-
4
Bake in the preheated oven until light golden brown, 8 to 11 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Awesome Slow Cooker Buffalo Wings
These spicy slow cooker chicken wings were gone in five minutes when I made them for a Super Bowl party! Super easy to make in a crockpot and then crisp up in the oven. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Four Egg Yellow Cake
This 4-egg cake recipe is our favorite yellow cake. I usually don't get to put any icing on it before it is gone.
Chicken and Black Bean Casserole
This Mexican-inspired chicken casserole with rice and beans can be made with leftover chicken or chicken breasts. I usually make it the day after we have roast chicken. The recipe calls for baking, but the ingredients can also be added to a slow cooker and cooked on Low for 7 hours. We serve this with cheese, tortilla chips, sour cream, salsa, black olives, and guacamole.
