The best mashed potatoes are smooth, creamy, and buttery. This is my favorite mashed potato recipe that combines hot boiled potatoes with warm milk and melted butter for light and fluffy results every time. A classic side for the holidays or weeknights!

Jo's Manicotti
A recipe I put together based on my own personal taste. I buy an extra can of tomato sauce to serve at the table and let my guests add more sauce if they so desire!
Oatmeal Icebox Cookies
This recipe is one of my mother's refrigerator cookies that she made when I was little. The old fashioned sugar cookies that you have on your home page is exactly what mom used to make. They are wonderfully soft and a touch of nutmeg in them. You could not believe how many memories it brings back to me. This is another memory to enclose to you. This is a sandwich type cookie spread with jam in the center.
Red Lentil Soup with Lemon Mint Yogurt
This lentil soup recipe is easy to get excited about because it is delicious, satisfying, comforting, beautiful, and, thanks to the lentils, meaty. When you're eating this, it really doesn't seem like a vegetable-based soup. Garnish with thinly sliced mint.
