This brown sugar meatloaf is an easy and tasty dish. It tastes as good as it smells!
Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 0.5 cups packed brown sugar
- 0.5 cups ketchup
- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 1 small onion , chopped
- 0.75 cups milk
- 0.75 cups finely crushed saltine cracker crumbs
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 0.25 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 0.25 teaspoons ground ginger

Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 5x9-inch loaf pan.

Press brown sugar into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan and spread ketchup over top sugar.

Mix all remaining ingredients thoroughly in a mixing bowl and shape into a loaf.

Place on top of the ketchup and sugar crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until juices are clear.
