An easy Brussels sprout and mushroom recipe to serve as a side. My husband and I adore Brussels sprouts and usually just steam them and serve them with butter.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Brussels sprouts , trimmed and halved
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 0.5 pounds whole mushrooms
- 0.5 cups chopped fresh parsley
- fresh lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
1
Cook Brussels sprouts in a pot of lightly salted boiling water for 15 minutes, or until fork-tender; strain through a colander, removing as much water as possible. Set aside.
-
2
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir mushrooms until lightly browned.
-
3
Toss Brussels sprouts with mushrooms and sprinkle with parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Serve immediately.

Cherry Cream Cheese Cake
This luscious pound cake has a nutty top crust, and is moist and flavorful. Makes a great gift. You can use halved maraschino cherries instead, if you prefer.
Protein Waffles
These healthy, protein-packed waffles are fluffy and delicious! No waffle iron? No problem! Make them into pancakes instead. Top with berries, bananas, dark chocolate chips, or anything else you like!
Air Fryer Chicken Kiev
Chicken Kiev in the air fryer is moist and tasty with a crispy breaded coating. An herb butter stuffed inside each breast flavors the meat as it cooks and delights you with a fragrant aroma when you cut into it. This dish is usually deep-fried and then baked, but this recipe is cooked entirely in an air fryer, making it a healthier and quicker alternative.
