This cola-glazed ham is a go-to entrée for any holiday. The spiral-sliced ham is baked with a luscious brown sugar and cola glaze. It's very easy and always delicious — it's never failed me yet!
Ingredients
- 1 baked ham , 8 pound
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cans or bottles cola-flavored carbonated beverage , 12 fluid ounce
Instructions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, and place ham into the pan.
-
2
Place brown sugar in a bowl; whisk in just enough cola to dissolve sugar and form a thick glaze. Pour glaze over ham, then add remaining cola to the bottom of the baking pan.
-
3
Bake in the preheated oven, occasionally basting with glaze, for 2 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
-
4
Transfer ham to a serving platter and tent with foil for up to 30 minutes before serving.
