This dried beef cheese ball recipe is a festive favorite in our house. Grandma usually doubles the recipe — otherwise, it won't last long! It can be rolled in ground nuts, bacon bits, or left plain.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 3 ounces dried beef
- 2 greens onions , chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1.25 teaspoons monosodium glutamate , MSG
- 0.25 teaspoons onion salt

Gather all ingredients.

In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, dried beef, and chopped onions.

Mix well, then season with onion salt, monosodium glutamate, and Worcestershire sauce.

Form into a ball and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Roll in bacon bits and top with chopped onions before serving. (optional)
