Triple-Dipped Fried Chicken
This fried chicken batter yields the crispiest, spiciest, homemade fried chicken I have ever tasted! It has been a picnic favorite in my family for years and tastes equally good served hot or cold.
Rainbow Sheet Cake
The base of this rainbow sheet cake is a super simple vanilla cake that is topped with cream cheese frosting. You can use any vanilla cake recipe here (or even box mix if you really wanted) โ just make sure the batter isn't too runny or the colors may bleed into each other. Feel free to adjust the color palette to your preference! Perfect for a kid's birthday party, or a fun weekend activity to bake with kids.
Spaghetti alla Carbonara
Carbonara is made with guanciale (cured pork), eggs, Pecorino Romano cheese, spaghetti pasta, and lots of black pepper. Italians don't add extra ingredients like cream, milk, garlic, or onions. Try this recipe if you want to make an authentic, creamy carbonara that comes straight from Italy, where I live. Buon appetito!
