Super easy, delicious spicy chicken wings are ready in less than an hour! My wife doesn't like the hot sauce, so she heats BBQ sauce in the microwave and uses that.
Ingredients
- 0.75 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 12 skinlesss chicken wings
- 1 quart vegetable oil for frying
- 0.75 cups hot pepper sauce , such as Frank's RedHot
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Instructions
-
1
Mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder together in a 1-gallon resealable bag. Add wings. Seal bag and turn evenly to coat chicken.
-
2
Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
-
3
Remove wings from bag and shake off any excess coating. Fry, in batches if necessary, until no longer pink in the center, about 7 minutes. Remove wings with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
-
4
Combine hot sauce and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. Coat wings with sauce and serve.
